How to Use Smart View

1. Download Samsung Smart View

   from the App Store, Google Play,
   

   or Samsung Galaxy Apps.
   

2. Launch the app and follow the steps to set up Smart View.
   

   ※ 2011~2013 Samsung Smart TVs require you to select ‘Allow’ on the popup window, showing nearby devices to connect.
   

   2014~2015 Samsung Smart TVs require you to input a 4-digit number displayed on screen.

Samsung mobile viewer

I bought my Samsung SDE-120N from Sam's Club Oct. 2011. My husband installed it and we loved the fact that we could view our home from our iPhone's. I used the application to check on my teenager to make sure she was home while we were at the show on Tuesday, Feb. 21st. The Samsung Viewer would not connect to the 3G network. I tried my husband's phone as well. Would not connect.
Called Samsung Support first thing Wed, Feb. 22nd and for an hour they had me uninstall and reinstall the app. They could not get it to work and said they problem was with ATT&T network. So, I went to the ATT&T store and they put in a new sim card for my phone, reset my phone, cleared the cache….NONE OF THIS WORKED!!!! Finally, we went to the app store and read the reviews and it seems I spent a lot of my time on this issue for nothing. Samsung tech support knows there is an issue and will not admit that they are aware of it. As I am typing this, Samsung has had me on hold for 15 mins and finally came back and said they are contacting their headquarters for an update on the app. Sam's club will take back the Samsung Security System and I plan to return it and get something else.

Awesome!

I'm really happy with this app! I wish it would work on 3G like it says but I can't complain about a great connection via wifi. I can check in with any wifi-spot. If I need to watch with 3G, I use safari.
